Warner signed a deal with Dubai Capitals, an affiliate of two-time finalists Delhi Capitals, where Warner also plays. Warner has captained

franchise sides in the past, guiding SunRisers Hyderabad to their maiden IPL title in 2016.

The 37-year-old will lead the Capitals in the ILT20 2024, which will take place from January 20 to February 18. In the previous ILT20 edition, the Capitals reached the Eliminator match but were defeated by MI Emirates.
