Suryakumar Yadav takes charge in Hyderabad
Since making his debut back in March 2021, it took Suryakumar took three years and 212 days to reach the milestone of 2500 runs. He broke the record of Babar, who got there in five years and 65 days. The 34-year-old did not have the best of outings after he got scores of 29 and eight in Gwalior and Delhi respectively.
Suryakumar came out all guns blazing in Hyderabad. After India lost the early wicket of Abhishek Sharma, the Indian skipper joined hands with Samson and took the Bangladeshi bowlers to the cleaners. He got to his fifty off a mere 23 balls and showed why he is deemed as one of the best in the business in world cricket.
