Harmanpreet Kaur was delighted after India won their three-match ODI series against New Zealand 2-1. The hosts went into the series on the back of a disappointing campaign in the Women’s T20 World Cup where they failed to make their way through to the semi-final. India won the series opener by 59 runs, but slumped to defeat in the
second game at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
But on Tuesday, Harmanpreet’s women came out firing and won by six wickets. After being asked to chase down 233, India went past the finish line with 34 balls left in their innings. The skipper said that India were confident of bouncing back after losing the second ODI.
