India crumbled to 107 all out against a top quality England seam attack on a rain-hit second day of the second cricket Test at Lord's in London yesterday.
Put into bat under overcast conditions, Skipper Virat Kohli 24 and Ajinkya Rahane 18 along with other batsmen failed to counter England seamers led by James Anderson 5 for 20.
It was Ravichandran Ashwin's 29 that ensured that India crossed the three-figure mark as England gained
complete control despite a day and a half's play is already lost due to inclement weather.
Earlier, England skipper Joe Root won the toss on the second day putting India into bat.
India brought Cheteshwar Pujara and Kuldeep Yadav in place of Shikhar Dhawan and Umesh Yadav, while England's Chris Woakes replaced Ben Stokes.
England won the first Test by 31 runs.
