India beat UAE by 122 runs in Women's U-19 T20 World Cup

Benoni: India beat United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 122 runs in the U-19 T20 Women's Cricket World Cup at Willowmoore Park, Benoni in South Africa on Monday and stays on top of Group-D. Chasing the target of 220 runs set by India, UAE could manage to score 97 for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

India made 219 runs losing three wickets. Shweta Sehrawat made a brilliant unbeaten 74 in 49 balls. Captain Shafali Verma scored 78 runs in 34 balls. Richa Ghosh contributed 49. Shafali was declared Player of the Match.

India will next play Scotland on Thursday (19th of January).
