India beat West Indies by six wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and sent in West Indies to bat before restricting it to a below-par 157 for seven
with debutant Ravi Bishnoi recording figures of 2/17.
After Ravi Bishnoi's heroics helped India restrict West Indies for 157, Rohit, Suryakumar and Venkatesh Iyer played handy knocks as India gunned down the target in just 18.5 overs with 6 wickets to spare.
