Dubai: India thrashed Scotland by eight wickets in the T20 Cricket World Cup Super 12 match at Dubai International Stadium last night. Put into bat, Scotland were bundled out for a paltry score of 85 runs. Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja scalped three wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah took two. In reply, India overhauled the target in just 6.3 overs riding on K.L. Rahul's quick 50 off 19
balls.
With this win, India moved to the third spot with four points in Group 2. In another match New Zealand defeated Namibia by 52 runs at Sharjah.
Today Australia will take on West Indies at 3:30 pm in Abu Dhabi while England will play against South Africa at 7:30 pm in Sharjah.
