India enters final of ICC Women's T20 World Cup

India has entered final of ICC Women's T20 World Cup after semifinal clash against England was rained out in Sydney. This is India's maiden final of a Women's T20 World Cup. In this tournament, India have had a perfect ride so far. If Indian women are to rewrite history, they need to go past England.

p.m. Indian Time. However, a washout due to rain is threatening to jeopardise both the second semi-final also. Cricket Australia had requested ICC for a reserve day for the semi-finals. However, ICC has rejected the request quoting tournament rules. The final of Women's T20 World Cup will be played in Melbourne on Sunday from 12.30 pm Indian Time which coincides with the International Women's Day.
