India to play against Australia in the first semifinal of Champions Trophy today in Dubai

Dubai: India and Australia will renew hostilities again on Tuesday in Dubai as the two sides lock horns for a spot in the Champions Trophy final. The other semifinal will be between South Africa and New Zealand in Lahore on Wednesday. The match will start at 2-30 pm IST. 

India come into the match with 3 wins out of three, defeating Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand while Australia started the tournament with a dominating win over England but had their other two matches against South Africa and Afghanistan abandoned due to rain.

In ODIs, India and Australia have faced each other 151 times with Australia coming out on top in 84 matches while India were victorious in 57 games. 10 matches had no result. The last time these



two sides met in a 50-over ICC event was in 2023 where Australia defeated India in the World Cup final in Ahmedabad.
