Leeds: India will resume their second innings at the overnight score of 215 for two against England on day four of the 3rd test at Headingley. Cheteshwar Pujara at 91 and Virat Kohli at 45 were at the crease when the stumps were drawn yesterday. The visitors are still trailing by 139 runs.
England made 432 runs in their first innings, while India had scored
just 78 runs.
England skipper Joe Root continued his fine run with the bat in the series as he brought up his third century in three games.
India have taken 1-0 lead in the five-match series after trouncing England by 151 runs at Lord’s in the second test. The first Test had ended in a draw.
