India to take on Bangladesh in Women’s Asia Cup today

Sylhet: In the Women’s T20 Asia Cup, India will take on Bangladesh at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh. The match will begin at 1.30 pm Indian Standard Time.

Yesterday, Pakistan Women came up with a spirited show with both bat and ball as they beat India by 13 runs at Sylhet. Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat. Pakistan set the target of 138 runs, as they scored 137 for 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, India



were all out for 124 runs in 19.4 overs.  

Despite the loss, India with 6 points and better net run rate, sit comfortably on the top of the points table and will look to strengthen the lead against Bangladesh today. Bangladesh with four points are third behind Pakistan with six points. 

A win will ensure them the second spot as they have a better net run rate.
