Indian women's cricket team thrashed Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in their second match, clinching the three-match ODI series 2-0 at Pallekele.
Put in to bat first, hosts Sri Lanka scored 173 runs in the stipulated 50 with the help of Ama Kanchana's 47 and Nilakshi de Silva's 32 runs. For India, Renuka Singh claimed 4 wickets while Meghna Singh and Deepti Sharma took two wickets each.

Indian openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana overhauled the target in just 25.4 overs. Mandhana remained unbeaten on 94 while Shafali made not out 71 runs.
India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Earlier, India also won the T20 series. The third and final match will be played on Thursday at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium at Kandy.
