Indian cricketers extend condolences to Pandya brothers on his father demise

Star Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, brother Krunal Pandya are mourning the loss of their father Himanshu Pandya, who passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Saturday. We have learnt that Mr. Himanshu Pandya suffered a heart attack early morning on January 16 which he couldn’t survive.

On learning the devastating news, Baroda captain Krunal Pandya left the Syed Mushtaq Ali bio bubble, with permission from the team management and the CEO. In his absence, Kedar Dedhar will lead the Baroda T20 side in the remainder of the Mushtaq Ali games. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is expected to arrive Vadodara



around noon.

Indian captain Virat Kohli has remembered Mr Himanshu Pandya as a joyful and full of life person and extended his condolences to the Pandya family.

Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan are among former Indian cricketers who have remembered the Pandya family in their prayers. Pathan has also shared an anecdote on the late Himanshu Pandya and how passionate he was about his sons playing cricket.

Sons Hardik and Krunal have both fulfilled their father’s wish of watching them play cricket for India. Other cricketers too have extended their condolences to the Pandya family.
