The Indian women's cricket team have retained their fourth spot in both the ICC ODI and T20I rankings after the latest update on Saturday.

The team led by Harmanpreet Kaur enjoyed a successful tour of England recently where they were able to complete a clean sweep over the hosts in the ODI leg.

The series was the last one played by Jhulan Goswami and the team gave her a proper farewell by winning all the matches, shinning with both ball and bat. While the Deepti Sharma and Charlotte Dean run-out controversy took all the limelight in the third ODI, the Indian bowlers bowled their hearts out to get the win.

While the T20I series went in favour of England, India remained competitive throughout the three matches and was able to push the hosts all the way into the final game.

In the new update issued by the ICC, India gained a point in the

ODI rankings to remain in the fourth spot. In the T20I rankings, the team gained four points and remained in fourth spot. After the new update, India have 104 points in the ODI rankings and 266 points in the T20I rankings.

When it comes to the rankings, Australia continued their dominance up top by extending their lead in both the ODI and T20I lists.

The Australian women's team have established a record margin up top when it comes to the ODI rankings. They have increased their lead from 48 to 51 rating points in the 50-overs list over South Africa. This is the highest lead by any international team in the history of the game.

In the T20I list, Australia extended their lead over England from 14 to 18 rating points. There haven't been any changes in the positions when it comes to the ODI rankings as England come in at third, India fourth and New Zealand at fifth.
