India's Test regulars got back to business straight away as the star cricketers began training as early as Friday, June 17 a day after reaching London for the one-off Test against England, starting July 1 in Birmingham. India began with outdoor training in London with Virat Kohli leading the pack.
Virat Kohli, who led India to a 2-1 lead in the 5-Test series that remained incomplete last year due to
Covid-19 concerns, was sporting shades as India players were involved in a running session. Kohli was joined by the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and other Test regulars who had flown out of Mumbai for the UK on Wednesday evening.
BCCI shared photos of India's first training session in London and captioned the post: "Out and about in London".
