IPL 10: KKR beat KXIP by 8 wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Kings Eleven Punjab by eight wickets in their first home game of the ongoing IPL tournament. The Kolkata side overhauled the 171-run target in 16.3 overs.

Gautam Gambhir played a captain's knock by scoring 79 off 49 balls. Player of the Match Sunil Narine who opened the innings



alongside Gambhir made 37 off 18 balls. Manish Pandey remained unbeaten on 25 while Robin Uthappa made 26.

Earlier, put in to bat, Kings Eleven made 170 for 9 in their 20 overs. KKR now have two victories from three games. For Kings XI Punjab, it was the first loss of the season after two emphatic wins.
