India and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been out of action for almost three months following a thumb injury, on Friday arrived in Mumbai ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
CSK have shifted their camp to Mumbai as they begin their campaign away from their home. Notably, no team will be playing at its home venue this season. Jadeja will undergo the 7-day mandatory quarantine before joining the CSK training
camp.
Chennai Super Kings' took to their official social media handle to post a picture of Jadeja and captioned the post: "Welcome Super 8! See you after 7! #WhistlePodu #Yellove. @imjadeja." Jadeja too posted a set of three selfies that read: "Feeling fresh". In the pics, he is seen sitting inside a vehicle, sporting a sun hat, sunglasses and a mask.
"He looks in good shape and we are hopeful he will be available from the first game," said Kasi Viswanathan, the CEO of the franchise.
