IPL 2024: Jasprit Bumrah makes phenomenal IPL return with 3-wicket haul vs GT

India fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah made a phenomenal return to the Indian Premier League by picking a three-wicket haul against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Bumrah returned for Mumbai Indians in the 2024 season after missing the etire IPL 2023 due to a back injury. Bumrah picked three wickets while giving away just 14 runs in four overs against GT in their opening match of IPL 2024. Bumrah picked the important



wickets of Wriddhiman Saha, B Sai Sudharsan and David Miller to peg GT back in the first innings.

To the surprise of many, MI's new captain Hardik Pandya opted to open the bowling himself and introduced Bumrah only in the fourth over. However, the change did not put the star bowler off as he produced in his first over itself, trapping Wriddhiman Saha in his crease as he shattered his stumps with a searing yorker.
