Sunrisers Hyderabad handed Chennai Super Kings their second straight loss in the Indian premier League on Friday and climbed to the 5th position.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders still remained at the top after they thrashed Delhi Capitals by a mammoth 105 runs. That huge win resulted in Rajasthan Royals dropping to the 2nd position due to their inferior run rate. Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants stayed put at 3rd and 4th respectively.
Due to Delhi’s heavy defeat to Kolkata, they slipped to the 9th position in the table with just Mumbai Indians behind them. Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bengaluru were the recipient of an unlikely assist from KKR’s
victory as they rose to 8th.
