India's premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of upcoming Test series against South Africa due to stress fracture in his lower back. He has been replaced by Umesh Yadav.
In a release, the BCCI said Bumrah's injury was detected during a routine
radiological screening. He will now undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy at Bengaluru and will be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team.
The three-match Test series will begin in Visakhapatnam from October 2.
