Jodhpur likely become new IPL venue this season

Barkatullah Khan Stadium in JODHPUR could be added as a new venue for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. It has been learned that top officials of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) have verbally expressed their desire to the Board of Control for



Cricket in India to host a few IPL games there (BCCI).

Each venue must have certain basic facilities in order to host an IPL game. The BCCI’s main concern for the Jodhpur ground, however, is the boundary size, which they believe is insufficient.
