The draft for the upcoming tenth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was successfully held on Monday, January 13 at Huzoori Bagh in Lahore Fort. Several big names of international cricket were picked by the six franchises as a total of 116 players from ten countries feature in the rosters for the upcoming season.

The tenth season of the PSL is all set to begin from 8 April with the final scheduled on 19 May. New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell was the pick of the draft as the who was roped in by the the two-time winners Lahore Qalandars. 2020 Champions Kings acquired the



services of the former Australia batter David Warner who became the second pick in the first Platinum round.

Star New Zealand batter Kane Williamson, who initially found no takers in the Platinum round, was later picked up by Karachi Kings in the supplementary Round 1. Williamson will join his Kiwi teammate Adam Milne in Karachi.

Apart from him, US wicketkeeper-batter Andries Gous was another notable pick in the draft as he became the second player from his nation to be picked in PSL after fast bowler Ali Khan who was signed by Karachi Kings for the 2020 season.
