KL Rahul became the first batter to score 1000 runs for LSG in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-handed batter achieved the feat in Lucknow’s match against Gujarat on Sunday, April 7 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Rahul was 17 runs short of the milestone, and he reached the landmark with ease.

In 28 matches for LSG since he first joined the franchise back in 2022, the right-handed batter has racked up 1016 runs at an average of 42.33 and a strike-rate of 127.79 with 2 centuries and 7 fifties to his name.
