Men in yellow are unstoppable, showcasing champion spirit, says Suresh Raina after CSK qualify for IPL playoffs

CSK legend Suresh Raina hailed MS Dhoni-led side for storming into the IPL 2023 playoffs after convincingly defeating Delhi Capitals on Saturday.

CSK beat DC by 77 runs to become the second team to enter the 2023 playoffs. CSK bowlers rattled Delhi Capitals' batting at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in their last league game.

Deepak Chahar picked up three wickets, Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana took two each, and Tushar Deshpande and Ravindra Jadeja got one each as DC were restricted to 146/9 in defence of 223.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway stitched a crucial 141-run opening partnership, which set the foundation of CSK's innings. Shivam Dube (22 off 9) and Ravindra Jadeja's (20* off 7) powered CSK to an imposing total.

After the win, Dhoni revealed CSK's winning mantra by saying that the franchise is picking the best players and grooming and working on their strengths. He also credited the CSK management and support staff for getting everything together for the side.

"Well, I think there is no recipe," said Dhoni on CSK's stunning record in the IPL. "Pick the best players and see how they perform. Groom them where they are strong and work on those areas. The management and support staff have been great and everything coming together is important.
