Mirpur: Bangladesh posted a solid total on board against Afghanistan in their first innings at stumps on Day 1 in the one off test match being played at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Mirpur. Asked to bat first, Bangladesh made 362 runs with the loss of five wickets with the help of Najmul Hossain Shanto's century. Shanto scored 146 runs
before being caught by Nasir Jamal while Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored 76 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim on 41 and Mehidy Hasan Miraz on 43 were on the crease at stumps.
For Afghanistan, Nijat Masood scalped two wickets. Afghanistan won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.
