Mohammed Shami departs for Australia, set to join Team India for T20 World Cup

Fast bowler Mohammed Shami could not take part in the T20 series against Australia due to the Covid-19 infection. Following the series, he also had to sit out of the series against South Africa. Shami who is named in the standby list of the Indian squad did not



get a chance to play the practice match, but he has departed for Australia.

Shami took to social media to let his fans know that he was ready to depart. He shared a post on Instagram with the caption, "Time to fly now for T20 World Cup."
