Mohd Shami says, ‘Gujarat mei hun, mera khana nahi milega'

Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Shami’s four-wicket haul helped his team defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 34 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad.

Replying to a question by former India head coach Ravi Shastri, about his diet for his strong form, Shami said that he can’t have the food he likes when playing in Gujarat.

“Gujarat



mein hun, mera khaana nahi milega na. Lekin Gujarati food enjoy kar raha hun (I am in Gujarat. I won’t get my food here. But, I am enjoying Gujarati food.),” said the player.

In the post-match presentation, against SRH, Shami said that he was focusing to keep the bowling tight and bowl in good areas. He also praised his partner Mohit Sharma as he provided effective support.
