In IPL Cricket, Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by 40 runs in a second leg match at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi last night.
Chasing a target of 169 to win, Delhi Capitals were restricted by Mumbai to 128 for nine. Rahul Chahar took 3 wickets while Jasprit Bumrah 2.
Earlier, Mumbai
had won the toss and opted to bat. Hardik Pandya, 32 off 15 and Krunal Pandya 37 not out off 26 provided a much needed late onslaught by hammering 51 runs off the last 18 balls to put Mumbai 168 for 5.
Opener Quinton de Kock hit 35 runs.
