Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 46 runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai tonight. This is the first victory of the defending champions Mumbai Indians in current session of IPL.
Chasing a target of 214 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 167 for 8 in stipulated 20 overs. Virat Kohli's 92 was not enough for Royal Challengers to
reach the target. Earlier, RCB won the toss and decided to field first. Riding on Rohit Sharma's fabulous 94 and Evin Lewis's steady 65, Mumbai Indians scored 213 for 6.
For RCB, Umesh Yadav and Corey Anderson picked up two wickets each for RCB while Krunal Pandya bagged three wickets for Mumbai.
