Punjab Kings batter Priyansh Arya produced a stunning performance as he scored his fifty in just 19 balls against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday, April 8. The performance from the Delhi batter certainly thrilled Punjab owner Preity Zinta, who was seen applauding the effort of the 24-year-old.
Priyansh, a sixer king on the domestic circuit for his exploits in the Delhi Premier League, got the ball rolling with a maximum of the very first ball he faced. The PBKS batter got his fair share of luck in the over as the second ball was dropped by Khaleel
Ahmed off his own bowling. The 24-year-old made most of the opportunity as he hit another six in the same over to have the momentum on his side.
While PBKS kept losing wickets at the other end, Priyansh kept on going and was able to hit three boundaries on the trot against Mukesh Choudhary in the 4th over. The final over of powerplay was when Priyansh showed off his class as he took down the experienced R Ashwin for 2 sixes and a boundary.
The last six saw Zinta celebrate the achievement. But this wasn't the end of the onslaught.
