Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Indian contingent that recently created history at the Paris Paralympics, winning the country’s highest ever medal, at his residence 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on Thursday.
India
finished 18th in the medal tally with seven gold, nine silver and 13 bronze to their name. They set a record total of 29 medals. The contingent has shattered the record for India’s best-ever medal haul that was set at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics (19).
