Prithvi Shaw attacked with baseball bat for denying selfie in Mumbai

In Mumbai, a fight over selfies quickly turned into a fight with a baseball bat and a car chase for cricketer Prithvi Shaw.

Eight individuals are being investigated by the police for allegedly charging at Shaw and his friend, shattering the windshield of their vehicle, and demanding Rs 50,000.

Shobhit Thakur and Sana, also known as Sapna Gill, the accused, have denied the allegations and claimed that Shaw attacked them first.

Shaw's friend claims that two male and female admirers approached the cricketer for photos, prompting the brawl at a posh hotel near the Mumbai airport in the early hours of Wednesday.

Shaw called a friend and the hotel management to have the fans taken out because they wouldn't back down and wanted more pictures.

In the wake of being shot out, the allies sat tight



outside for Prithvi and, along with a couple of others furnished with slugging sticks, amassed Shaw, the grumbling claimed.
