The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly announced the schedule of the remainder of the four Pakistan Super League 2020 matches. PSL 2020 was postponed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) just before the knockout stages due to the ongoing coronavirus global pandemic.
Now, due to a decrease in the number of coronavirus carriers in Pakistan, the semi-finals stage of the PSL 5 could take place in November after IPL 2020.
The four matches will be held in a bio-secure environment on 14, 15 and 17 November with Lahore to be the likely venue. The dates have been finalized following consultations and discussions with the four playing sides Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar
Zalmi.
The availability of foreign players still remains a major hurdle but PCB is optimistic about roping in players from other Asian countries at the minimum. Another suggestion is to allow a limited number of spectators to watch Pakistan's biggest cricketing spectacle.
Only the Qualifier and Eliminator 1 will be a double-header and Eliminator 2 will be played on the following day, while PSL 2020 will conclude on 17 November.
