Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Sunday (April 11), announced the resumption of their suspended T20 league. The sixth edition of the popular PSL was postponed last month, amid the outbreak of the coronavirus-induced pandemic.
PSL 6 will resume on June 1 with Lahore Qalandars taking on Islamabad United. Dates to all remaining fixtures have been announced and the final will be played on June 20. Everyone involved in the league, including the players and staff, will be required to are to undergo a hard seven-day hotel
quarantine from May 22 after they join the biobubble.
"HBL PSL 6 matches will resume on 1 June with the final scheduled for 20 June," read the PCB's press release.
To ensure all those who will be part of the bio-secure bubble remain safe from the infection this time, the PCB said it it in the final stages of appointing "a globally-recognised safety management company that specialises in providing Covid-safe technology solutions, bio-secure monitoring & management, as well as response and reaction to positive tests"
