India women completed a 5-0 whitewash of Bangladesh in a T20I series in Sylhet after beating the hosts by a comprehensive 21-run margin on Thursday, May 9. Radha Yadav's 3-wicket haul and a collective batting effort helped India complete their dominance over Bangladesh in the final match of the series.
India clinched a morale-boosting series win in Bangladesh, which will host the T20 World Cup in October this year. While Harmanpreet Kaur and her side gained experience of playing in Bangladesh, they also ended a lean run in T20Is at the highest level. India posted 156 for 5 in their quota of 20 overs -- their

Radha Yadav, who returned to the squad after nearly a year's gap, took 3 wickets, shining with the new ball. The left-arm spinner won the Player of the Match and the Player of the Series, finishing with 10 wickets -- the most by a bowler in the 5-match series.
Titas Sadhu was also impressive with the new ball as India restricted Bangladesh to 52 for 5 in the 10th over. However, Ritu Moni, with a 33-ball 37, and Shorifa Khatun, with a 21-ball 28, helped Bangladesh post 135.
Leg-spinner Asha Sobhana also took 2 wickets, conceding just 25 runs in her 4-over spell.
