RCB beat RR by 7 wickets in Dubai

Dubai: All-around performance from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) guided them to their seventh victory of the season as they defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 7 wickets in Dubai last night. Chasing 150 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made 153 for three in 17.1 overs with the help of openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal added 48 runs for the first wicket. Then Srikar Bharat and Glenn Maxwell added 69 runs together for the third wicket. Maxwell remained not out on 50 while Srikar Bharat made 44 runs.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to field. Put into bat first, Rajasthan Royals posted a score of 149 runs for the loss of nine wickets in



the stipulated 20 overs with help of Evin Lewis's  58 and Yashasvi Jaiswal 31. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Harshal Patel picked up three wickets, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Shahbaz Ahmed shared two wickets each. George Garton and Dan Christian also took one wicket each. Yuzvendra Chahal was declared Player of the Match.

With this win RCB now have 14 points in their hand and still at the third spot in the points table whereas RR are at the seventh spot with 8 points. 

Today, Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Chennai Super Kings in Sharjah at 7:30 pm.
