Social media handles of Indian Premier League franchises are being active and quirky in the lead up to IPL 2020 but Royal Challengers Bangalore's recent post on World Lion Day hasn't garnered the anticipated response, it seems.

RCB took to social media on Monday to post a photo of their captain Virat Kohli and a lion, asking its fans to spot differences between the two images.

While fans were coming up with funny responses with some even trolling the franchise, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's replied to the post with a hilarious comparison.

"Difference hmmm in first pic wearing clothes and in 2nd pic without clothes (sic)," Chahal said with an array of emojis.

Chahal and Kohli will be teaming up for RCB in IPL 2020,

scheduled to be held in the UAE from September 19. IPL 2020 was initially suspended and it missed the April-May window due to the novel coronavirus pandemic but the postponement of T20 World Cup gave the BCCI a window of opportunity to host the IPL.

Virat Kohli will be keen on making an impact with RCB in IPL 2020, given the title has eluded the Bengaluru-based franchise over the last 12 years. RCB, after reaching the final in IPL 2016, have finished at the bottom of the table twice, including last season.

Kohli along with other India stars have begun preparations to get himself match ready for IPL 2020 after the enforced break due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The India and RCB captain took to social media earlier this month to share a glimpse of his new training kit.
