They say dreams do come true when you believe in your power to turn them into reality. India's rising star Rinku Singh realised his dream to buy a house after being retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 13 crore. A picture of Rinku getting the keys to his new home alongside his family is doing rounds on social media. Rinku bought a lavish bungalow in his home town, Aligarh, after getting retained by KKR for a whopping price of Rs 13 crore. The southpaw was KKR's top retention, with Varun Chakravarthy (INR 12 crores), Sunil

Narine (INR 12 crore), Andre Russell (INR 12 crore) and Ramandeep Singh (INR 4 crore).

Rinku joined the Knight Riders back in 2018 at a base price of Rs 50 lakh and has been with them since then. He did not get enough chances to play in the first couple of seasons. But since 2023, he has grown in stature. He emerged as one of KKR's strongest finishers, who could take them past the finish line under difficult circumstances. Rinku showed that he had the temperament to not lose his composure when the chips are down.
