Rishabh Pant celebrates MS Dhoni’s 42nd birthday cuts cake for India legend by himself

The 2011 World Cup-winning India captain MS Dhoni is celebrating his 42nd birthday on Friday, July 7. Known for his calmness in high-pressure situations, the 'Captain Cool' is admired by cricketers and fans all around the world.

Dhoni, who announced his international retirement in 2020, holds a unique record as the only captain to have triumphed in all three ICC white-ball tournaments: the ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy.

On the occasion of Dhoni's



birthday, India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant celebrated the special day by cutting a cake on his behalf. "Happy birthday Mahi bhai. Aap toh ho nhi pass aapke liye cake cut leta hun mai. Happy birthday," Pant said in an Instagram post.

Pant, who is still recovering from his near fatal car accident, also penned a heartfelt note in an Instagram story. "An inspiration to so many people across the country. Thanks for everything you have done for the Indian cricket. Happy birthday Mahi bhai," Pant said.
