India wicket-keeper batter and Delhi Capitals' regular captain Rishabh Pant made his first public appearance after his horrific crash in December 2022. Pant, who has been recovering from his injuries was seen cheering for his team in Delhi's first home match in the Indian Premier League 2023.
Pant arrived at the Arun Jaitley Stadium for the team's second game of the Indian Premier League. In Pant's absence, Delhi had to scamper through their ranks to find a wicket-keeper batter and played two options in their first two matches. While Sarfaraz Khan
was given a chance in the first game, Abhishek Porel was handed a debut in the second match.
Pant can be seen making his way to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in an SUV, as seen in exclusive footage accessed by India Today. Pant, with the support of crutches, made his way to the stands at the stadium. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black shades as he was greeted by the fans at the stadium.
Pant had a heavy strapping on his legs as he is recovering from the multiple injuries he suffered during a near-fatal car crash in December.
