Rohit Sharma breaks Chris Gayle’s record for most sixes in international cricket

After getting out for 0 in India's first World Cup 2023 match against Australia, Rohit Sharma proved he was a man on a mission as he tore into the Afghanistan bowling attack in New Delhi on Wednesday. Rohit Sharma hit a 30-ball fifty as he laid a solid platform for India's pursuit of a 273-run target at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Rohit Sharma hit as many as 4 sixes in the first 40 deliveries that he faced in the knock against Afghanistan as the skipper made his intentions clear.
