Rohit Sharma relaxes at Wimbledon 2024 in London after T20 World Cup win

India's T20 World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma was spotted at Wimbledon 2024 on Friday, 12 July. Sharma, who is currently enjoying his off after winning the World Cup attended the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev at the centre court. Alongside Rohit, former India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik attended the men's singles semi-final as well.

Rohit Sharma, who recently retired from T20I cricket has a long pre-season ahead of him having skipped the Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka white-ball series in July. Sharma will now be focusing



on India's Test schedule where the side will hope to make it to the third successive final of the World Test Championships. Sharma has already played two finals of the WTC and will be looking to win the title, which is set to be played in 2025.

On the day, Sharma wore a lovely grey suit and waved to the crowd on Friday.

Alongside Sharma were India's star squash duo of Deepika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal. The duo were with their respective partners - former wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik and squash player Diya Pallikal.
