Punjab Kings star batsman Chris Gayle on Monday became the first cricketer in Indian Premier League history to smash 350 sixes in the tournament when he smashed a short ball from Ben Stokes into the mid-wicket stand for his 1st maximum of IPL 2021.

Gayle



was already the leading six-hitter in the IPL and needed just one more to reach 350 sixes before PBKS's first game of IPL 2021 against Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. He was dismissed for a 24-ball 40 and now has 351 sixes in the IPL from 133 matches.
