Sachin Tendulkar set to return for inaugural International Masters League

Cricket fans across the world are in for a treat as some of the sport’s biggest names are set to return to the field for the inaugural edition of the International Masters League (IML) this year. This much-anticipated six-nation T20 tournament is a joint venture led by two of the greatest cricketing icons — Mr. Sunil Gavaskar and Mr. Sachin Tendulkar — in collaboration with India’s top sports management company, PMG Sports, and the global sports marketing firm, SPORTFIVE.

The International Masters League will feature cricketing legends from six major cricket-playing nations: India, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, England, and Sri Lanka. This annual T20 event promises to recreate old rivalries and provide fans with a chance to witness their favorite players in action once more. Sachin Tendulkar, who will serve as the marquee player and league ambassador, is set to bring his famous flair back on the pitch, much to the excitement of his countless fans. Sunil Gavaskar, on the other hand, has been appointed as the League Commissioner.

The matches are scheduled to take place in Mumbai, Lucknow, and Raipur, and will be a grand spectacle of cricketing talent. PMG Sports and SPORTFIVE will manage various commercial and operational aspects, including sourcing franchise



partnerships, broadcast production, and on-ground execution.

Sachin Tendulkar, speaking about the league, stated: “Cricket continues to grow rapidly not just in India, but around the world. T20 cricket has brought in new fans and added to the excitement.
