Sanju Samson was at his very best in India’s third and final T20I against Bangladesh on Saturday, October 12 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The right-handed batter scored 111 runs off 47 balls with the help of 11 fours and eight sixes. He also smashed the second-fastest hundred by an Indian in T20Is off a mere 40

balls.

Samson had also broken Rohit Sharma’s record for the fastest fifty by an Indian batter in T20Is against Bangladesh off 23 balls. Samson did not have the best of outings in the first two matches in Gwalior and Delhi, but he made amends in Hyderabad. Opening the batting, the 29-year-old Samson gave an account of what he is capable of.
