South Africa to resume from 39 for three in the first test match against India at Vishakhapatnam today. Opener Dean Elgar at 27 not out and Temba Bavuma at 2 were at the crease when the second day's play came to end yesterday.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja rattled the South African batting lineup with early wickets. Ashwin claimed two wickets for nine whereas Jadeja claimed one for 21. The visitors trail India by 463 runs with three days left in the game.

Mayank Agarwal hit 22 boundaries and six sixes to reach his double century. Mayank Agarwal fell for 215 as Dean Elgar, bowling his first over in the match, picked up the priced scalp.
Rohit's innings of 176 runs was studded with 23 boundaries and six sixes. He had a 317 run-partnership with opener Mayank Agarwal. In the post-lunch session, India lost quick wickets of Cheteswar Pujara and captain Virat Kohli. Pujara scored six while Kohli made 20 runs.
