Afghanistan's Rashid Khan produced a superb all-round performance as Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 14 runs at Kolkata last night to book a place in the Final.
Put in to bat in the second Qualifier, Hyderabad posted 174 for 7, with Rashid scoring a 10-ball 34 comprising 2 fours and 4 sixes. Then, with the ball, he bagged 3 wickets and gave away just 19 runs from 4
overs, as Kolkata managed to make just 160 in the stipulated 20 overs. The Afghan leg-spinner was adjudged man of the match.
In the Final, which will be played in Mumbai tomorrow, Hyderabad will face two-time champions Chennai Super Kings. Hyderabad had finished the league stage at the top of the 8-team table, while Chennai was second.
