India and South Africa are set to lock horns in the T20 World Cup Super 12 match on Sunday, October 30 at the Perth Stadium.
India, captained by Rohit Sharma, have been on an absolute rampage in the tournament. After beating Pakistan and the Netherlands, they are sitting on top of the points table with a more than decent net run rate of 1.425.
Barring KL Rahul, who is yet to cross single-figure scores, the other Indian players have put in decent performances. However, beating the Proteas may not be a walk in the park for
the Men in Blue.
South Africa will go into the game after hammering Bangladesh by 104 runs at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Their pace-bowling duo of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje has looked deadly thus far.
India, however, can take heart from the fact that they have beaten the Proteas in four out of five matches in the history of the mega event since 2007.
The two teams last met back in 2014 when Virat Kohli's unbeaten 72-run knock helped India win the semi-final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
