Team India arrived in Ahmedabad on Thursday for the third Test against England that will be played from February 24 and received a warm welcome by several fans who lined up to watch the players as they left the airport in the team bus.
The England Test team also arrived earlier in the day and the players from both sides were taken to the team hotel in Ahmedabad.
The two teams will clash in the third and the fourth Test that will be
played in the newly furbished Sardar Patel Stadium, that is the largest stadium in the world.
As many as 55,000 fans are also expected to be there at the stadium for the Day-Night Test match starting in Motera on February 24.
England had won the first of the four Tests before India came back into the series by winning the second Test by a margin of 317 runs. The first two Test matches were played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
