India all-rounder Washington Sundar is likely to miss the ODI series in South Africa after he tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the team's departure on Tuesday, January 11. Sundar was part of the 18-member squad that was picked for the 3-match series, starting January 19.

Washington Sundar tested



positive for Covid-19 when he was in Bengaluru and he did not travel to Mumbai with the rest of his teammates who are part of the ODI squad. The India white-ball unit will leave for South Africa from Mumbai on Monday evening.

The BCCI is all set to announce a replacement to Washington Sundar on Tuesday.
